Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.”

    -Brené Brown

It is a powerful moment when someone decides to learn and grow, however life calls to them. I strive to create a compassionate space where vulnerability is met with understanding, hope, and possibility. My approach centers on fostering a safe, accepting environment where you can explore your authentic self.

With experience in substance use and mental health, I utilize psychodynamics, depth psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, parts work, and Motivational Interviewing. I am passionate about working with adolescents and adults, addressing challenges like substance use disorders, anxiety, low self-esteem, and personality disorders. Together, we can navigate your growth with empathy and encouragement.

"We do not hate the flower for starting as a seed."

    -KJ Ramsey

It can feel so overwhelming to ask for help, but it's also an incredibly brave and transformative place to be as well. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and couples along their journeys to relieve stress and anxiety, treat depression, or address trauma or relational difficulties with compassion, empathy, honesty, and safety. I appreciate working from a family systems, somatic, and attachment-focused lens, but also draw greatly from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the psychodynamic perspective.

As a Mexican-American who has a background in non-profit youth work, I have a lot of passion for working with multicultural issues, individuals with complex or traumatic relationships with their parents/families, spirituality/religious issues, women's issues, and perfectionism.

  • Lauren Plummer, LMFT

Rarely, if ever, is any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion."

    -bell hooks

Life is complicated, and we all need connection and support from others in order to grow and live fully into our lives. I’m honored to share the journey as a healing partner to adult individuals and couples who are sifting through family, parenting, and relationship issues, grief and transitions, traumas, identity and spirituality questions, and issues with anxiety and depression.

I integrate family systems, parts work, and psychodynamic frameworks to help people strengthen connection with self and others. I am somatic and attachment-focused EMDR practitioner for those seeking trauma-specific support. I also hold a Master of Theological Studies degree and a decade of experience working with people at the intersections of pastoral care, community education, and social justice.

My approach is open, curious, and interactive. You can expect warmth, feedback, and some humor from me as we work toward your goals for emotional and relational wellbeing. No matter where you're starting out, we can work together to shape a life grounded in love and resilience.
