A Prairie Tale of Synchronicity

For me, synchronicity is a way of confirming the rightness of action. It is only in its absence that I realize I’m out of kilter with, for want of a better term, the collective unconscious.
— ~ Nick Bantock

When we went looking to find a graphic designer to help us professionalize our vision for the logo, we were referred to Melissa Deneher, principal of Honey Bee Creative.

Little did we know at the time, but Melissa had just finished a project for Humanities Kansas called Wild Words, a poetry chapbook. If you can't get a copy of the book, you can download it here.

The chapbook "celebrates the innate relationship Kansans have with the prairie."

Wait? What!? Of all the graphic designers, we end up connected with the one person who had just finished illustrating a book focused on the prairie? Synchronicity at its best. A confirmation on the rightness of our new name.

Melissa did an outstanding job helping us bring our vision to life. Meeting her reinforced our focus on the prairie sky and how we hope our new name will inspire clients to "expand their horizons and cultivate resilience" in their lives.
